The work shown is by Mother, Father and Daughter all creating art in the same house in Somerset. Working alongside each other but with quite different concerns, the three hope that the work will form a new conversation with itself and the city by being shown here in Bristol.

Thea studied Fine Art at Newcastle University 2001-2005, and gained an MA from UAL in 2007. She currently lives in Bristol working as a massage therapist, whilst traveling to make work at the family home in Taunton.

Arran studied Fine Art at Newcastle University¬† from 1968-1972 and completed a PGCE at Exeter University in 1973-4. Arran’s teaching career was from this point onwards until 2016, with 35 years course managing Art and Textiles in a successful 6th form college. Arran lives and makes work in Taunton.

Philip also studied Fine Art and Newcastle University specialising in Textiles from 1966-1970. He worked in further and higher education teaching textiles for over 30 years, worked in various management and external examiner roles and retired as Deputy Head of Department in Art and Design in 2009. Philip lives and makes work in Taunton.
